Halo Wars 2 is an upcoming real-time strategy (RTS) video game developed by 343 Industries and Creative Assembly, and published by Microsoft Studios. The game is set in the science fiction universe of the Halo series in the year 2559, and is a sequel to the 2009 video game Halo Wars. The game sees the return of the human crew aboard the UNSC warship Spirit of Fire and introduces a new alien faction known as the Banished. Development of Halo Wars 2 began in 2014 and the game was announced at Gamescom in 2015. It is scheduled to be released in February 2017 for Windows personal computers (PCs) and the Xbox One video game console.

For Honor is an action fighting game developed and published by Ubisoft for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game allows players to play the roles of historical soldiers, including knights, samurai, and vikings within a medieval fantasy setting, controlled using a third-person perspective.

Announced at Electronic Entertainment Expo 2015, the game was developed primarily by Ubisoft's studio in Montreal, and released worldwide on February 14, 2017. Reception of game was mostly positive, with criticism being mostly directed at the multiplayer matchmaking.

Horizon Zero Dawn is an upcoming action role-playing video game developed by Guerrilla Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment exclusively for the PlayStation 4.

The plot revolves around Aloy, a hunter and archer who lives in a world overrun by robots. Having been cloistered her whole life, she sets out to discover the dangers that kept her sheltered for so long. The character makes use of ranged, melee weapons and stealth tactics to combat the mechanised creatures whose remains can also be looted for resources. A skill tree is turned to for gameplay improvements. The game features an open world environment for Aloy to explore, divided into tribes that hold side quests to accomplish while the main story guides her throughout the whole world.
